In the second set <strong>Irina<\/strong> went 4-0 up early but then <strong>Annett<\/strong> made good use of the corners which prevented <strong>Irina<\/strong> from delivering the shot variety for she is well known. <strong>Annett\u2019s<\/strong> speed and consistency prevailed to win the second set and match.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Irina<\/strong> is 23 years old, born in <strong>Ecuador<\/strong>, and resides in <strong>Palm Beach, Florida<\/strong>. She has played in all four <em>Grand Slams<\/em> and has a career high world ranking of 73. She was the runner-up last week in Perth and thus, continued playing consistently by remaining a finalist this week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annett<\/strong> is 17 years of age.
