{"id":7731,"date":"2013-10-15T12:21:01","date_gmt":"2013-10-15T04:21:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/?p=7731"},"modified":"2013-10-15T12:21:01","modified_gmt":"2013-10-15T04:21:01","slug":"maddison-inglis-achieves-full-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2013\/10\/15\/maddison-inglis-achieves-full-scholarship","title":{"rendered":"Maddison Inglis Achieves Full Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2013\/10\/15\/maddison-inglis-achieves-full-scholarship\/attachment\/maddy-inglis\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7732\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-7732\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/files\/2013\/10\/Maddy-Inglis-207x306.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"207\" height=\"306\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>National Academy athlete<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>Maddison Inglis<\/strong> has achieved <strong>Australian Institute<\/strong> <strong>of Sport<\/strong> full scholarship status by fulfilling the performance criteria requirements based on ranking, results and participation.<\/p>\n<p>As an <strong>AIS<\/strong> full scholarship holder, <strong>Maddy<\/strong> is entitled to the following benefits:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Assigned accountable coach<br \/>\n&#8211; Medical, physiotherapy and massage therapy<br \/>\n&#8211; Fitness, strength and conditioning<br \/>\n&#8211; Access to Sport Science<br \/>\n&#8211; Accommodation costs<br \/>\n&#8211; Travel costs (flight expenses) and international insurance (for program related travel)<br \/>\n&#8211; Education support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maddy<\/strong> has chosen to continue training with the <strong>National Academy<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>WA<\/strong> where she will follow a <em>Junior ITF \/ Pro Tour schedule<\/em> in 2013\/2014.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a list of <strong>Maddy\u2019s<\/strong> significant results so far in 2013:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; ITF Junior ranking has dropped from 1440 to 133 in the world in 2013<br \/>\n&#8211; Current Australian Ranking \u2013 41<br \/>\n&#8211; Qualified and made the Quarter Finals of her first $10,000 Pro Circuit event in Sumter, SC, USA.<br \/>\n&#8211; Winner of the Victorian Junior Claycourt International, ITF Junior event, Grade 4<br \/>\n&#8211; Winner of the Strive4College Queensland Winter International, ITF Junior event, Grade 4<br \/>\n&#8211; Finalist of the New Zealand 18 &amp; Under Summer Championships, ITF Junior event, Grade 3<br \/>\n&#8211; Semi Finalist Oceana Closed Junior Championships, ITF Junior event, Grade B2<br \/>\n&#8211; Finished 3rd place in the 16\u2019s and 14\u2019s Australian National Championships<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maddy<\/strong> and <strong>Andrew Roberts<\/strong> depart on the <em>Tennis Australia B1 Asia Tour<\/em> on Wednesday 16th October for three <em>Junior ITF<\/em> events.
