It attracts a crop of up-and-coming tennis stars from around Australia and the world, to compete for $25,000 in prize money and valuable World Ranking Points.<\/p>\n<p>The Pro-Tour provides a bridge for players looking to establish themselves in the WTA and ATP tour.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first time that the Pro-Tour will visit both <strong>Perth<\/strong> and <strong>Margaret River<\/strong>. The tournaments will not only showcase WA to the international competitors and their travelling parties, but also give WA female players the chance to compete in their own backyard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perth Tennis International<br \/>\n<\/strong>Tournament commences: Sunday, 29 September 2013<br \/>\nFinal: Sunday, 6 October 2013<br \/>\nVenue: <em>State Tennis Centre<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Margaret River Tennis International<br \/>\n<\/strong>Tournament Commences: Sunday, 6 October 2013<br \/>\nFinal: Sunday, 13 October 2013<br \/>\nVenue: <em>Margaret River Tennis Club<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Local supporters are encouraged to attend the free community events, to get behind the future of tennis in Australia and watch our country\u2019s up-and-coming tennis stars take their next step on to the global tennis stage.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>WA Open Platinum<\/strong> will be held as a lead up event to the <strong>Perth Tennis International<\/strong> at the <em>State Tennis Centre<\/em> from 22 \u2013 26 September 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Three exciting female players will compete in the WA Open:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zuzana Zlochova<\/strong> (Slovakia), number one seed and winner of the 2012 WA Open<br \/>\n<strong>Jessica Moore<\/strong> (WA), current Tennis Australia Ranking (Female) 15<br \/>\n<strong>Karis Ryan<\/strong> (WA), current Tennis Australia Ranking (Female) 28<\/p>\n<p>Competitors at both the <strong>Perth Tennis International<\/strong> and <strong>Margaret River Tennis International<\/strong> will be announced in the lead up to the Pro-Tour Event, following the WA Open.<\/p>\n<p>For live scoring of the Pro Tours <a title=\"Live Scoring Pro Tour\" href=\"http:\/\/scores.itftennis.com\/?alias=itf&amp;layoutid=72&amp;versionid=1&amp;language=en&amp;country=AUS\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>click here <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Perth\u2019s State Tennis Centre and the Margaret River Tennis Club are set to host two Women\u2019s International Tournaments this spring as part of the 2013 ITF Pro-Tour throughout Australia.
