Australia\u2019s top ranked players Sam Stosur<\/strong> and Bernard Tomic<\/strong> have today confirmed they will play at Hyundai Hopman Cup 2014.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Current world No.4 Agnieszka Radwanska<\/strong> and Wimbledon<\/strong> semifinalist Jerzy Janowicz<\/strong> are also set to star as Poland makes its debut at the event.<\/p>\n

World No.13 Stosur is excited to return to Western Australia for the first time since 2010.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wanted to get back to Perth. I thought this year I\u2019d try something different again,\u201d said Stosur, the 2011 US Open champion.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Stosur, who holds four WTA singles titles, her latest following a breakthrough win over world No.2 Victoria Azarenka at the Southern California Open earlier this month, and 23 doubles titles, likes the format of the Hyundai Hopman Cup.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be nice to be able to play. You know that you\u2019re going to get three matches \u2026 and maybe that\u2019s going to be good for me going into the Aussie Open.<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully that\u2019s going to be the secret formula to me doing well,\u201d added Stosur.<\/p>\n

Tomic, 20, and the youngest player currently in the top 100, will pair with Stosur as he looks to continue his unbeaten record at Perth Arena.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had some success there earlier this year so hopefully I can do well again in 2014,\u201d said the world No.42, who recently reached the fourth round at Wimbledon.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe event always attracts strong teams so you know you\u2019re going to get some tough matches against high quality players.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe local crowds love their tennis and it\u2019s always exciting to play in front of them,\u201d added the Queenslander, who won his first ATP singles title in Sydney in January.<\/p>\n

Radwanska and Janowicz will be looking to make their mark when Team Poland makes its first ever appearance at the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited to play the Hopman Cup for the first time,\u201d said Radwanska, who holds 12 WTA singles titles at just 24 years of age.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never played mixed doubles with him [Jerzy] before.\u00a0 Actually my last mixed doubles match was I think five years ago so that will be fun for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Twenty-two-year-old Janowicz has had an explosive year on the ATP World Tour, having already climbed up the rankings by 73 places to be just outside the top 10 in the past 12 months.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe decided it might be a lot of fun to play together at Hopman Cup,\u201d said Janowicz.<\/p>\n
