{"id":5540,"date":"2013-02-05T10:04:58","date_gmt":"2013-02-05T02:04:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/?p=5540"},"modified":"2013-02-05T10:04:58","modified_gmt":"2013-02-05T02:04:58","slug":"grand-slam-ticket-ballots-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2013\/02\/05\/grand-slam-ticket-ballots-2013","title":{"rendered":"Grand Slam ticket ballots 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2013\/02\/05\/grand-slam-ticket-ballots-2013\/attachment\/ao-vertical-rgb_neg_xcap-6\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5551\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5551\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/files\/2013\/02\/AO-Vertical-RGB_neg_Xcap5-311x306.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"311\" height=\"306\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tennis Australia receives a small allocation of tickets for the French Open, Wimbledon and US Open.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure there is a fair and equitable distribution of these tickets, a ballot is conducted each year by Tennis Australia to allocate these tickets.\u00a0 As applications for tickets far exceeds supply there is no guarantee that applicants will receive tickets, however, every endeavour will be made to make an allotment to as many people as possible.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for the ballot you must be a current Member of Australian Open Membership, a State\/Territory Association, Coach Members with Ticketing upgrade and\/or Officials Membership of Tennis Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The link\u00a0<a title=\"Grand Slam ballot link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/ballots\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/ballots<\/a>will operate from 9am on Tuesday 12 March\u00a0until close of business Monday 25 March 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The dates for the French Open 2013 are from Sunday 26 May through to Sunday 9 June<\/p>\n<p>The dates for Wimbledon 2013 are from Monday 24 June through to Sunday 7 July.<\/p>\n<p>The dates for the US Open 2013 are from Monday 26 August through to Sunday 9 September.<\/p>\n<p>Conditions of application<\/p>\n<p>The following conditions apply when making application for tickets:<\/p>\n<p>(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0You\u00a0<strong>MUST<\/strong>\u00a0be a financial Member of Australian Open Membership, Coach Membership with ticketing upgrade, State\/Territory Association, Officials Membership of Tennis Australia and you will need to access the ballot online via\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/ballots\">www.tennis.com.au\/ballots<\/a><\/p>\n<p>(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Payment will only be accepted by credit card and successful applicants will be subject to the relevant exchange rate at time of tickets being processed.<\/p>\n<p>(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A $30.00 processing and postage cost will apply per order.<\/p>\n<p>(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Tickets cannot be on-sold or exchanged for any reason and are for the use of the persons nominated on the application.<\/p>\n<p>(5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 By purchasing French Open and Wimbledon tickets you also agree to obey the individual Terms and Conditions of sale and entry set out by the French Open and All England Tennis Club. These conditions can be found on the following websites:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wimbledon.com\/en_GB\/privacy\/index.html\">http:\/\/www.wimbledon.com\/en_GB\/privacy\/index.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rolandgarros.fft-tickets.com\/sites\/rolandgarros.billetterie.fft.fr\/files\/CGV_RG2012_UK.pdf\">http:\/\/rolandgarros.fft-tickets.com\/sites\/rolandgarros.billetterie.fft.fr\/files\/CGV_RG2012_UK.pdf<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Wimbledon<\/h4>\n<p>A ticket limit of two tickets per person per day applies for allocations to Wimbledon with applications limited to\u00a0<strong>one per family<\/strong>.\u00a0 Tickets received for allocation by Tennis Australia are for Centre Court, Court No. 1 and Court No. 2.<\/p>\n<h4>French Open<\/h4>\n<p>A ticket limit of four tickets per person per day applies for allocations to the French Open with applications limited to\u00a0<strong>one per family<\/strong>.\u00a0 Tickets received for allocation by Tennis Australia are for Centre Court (Philippe Chatrier), Court 1 (Suzanne Lenglen).<\/p>\n<h4>US Open<\/h4>\n<p>Details to be confirmed in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(1) Online applications only to the <strong>French Open<\/strong> and <strong>Wimbledon<\/strong> ballots will be accepted from Tuesday 12\u00a0March and must be received by close of business Monday 25 March 2013.<\/p>\n<p>(2) Successful ballot applicants for French Open tickets will be advised in writing by Friday 5 April 2013.<\/p>\n<p>(3) Successful ballot applicants for Wimbledon tickets will be advised in writing by Friday 12 April 2013.<\/p>\n<p>(4) Tickets for the French Open will be sent via email in ezy ticket format to the successful ballot applicants in mid\u2013late April 2013.<\/p>\n<p>(5) Tickets for Wimbledon will be sent to successful ballot applicants in late May 2013.<\/p>\n<p>(6) Online application dates for the US Open will be confirmed by mid-June.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong>\u00a0online ballot applications will be accepted from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/ballots\">www.tennis.com.au\/ballots<\/a> on the dates detailed above.
