Champion<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bojana Bobusic, Melanie South<\/strong> &#8211; Runner Up<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Please\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tournaments.tennis.com.au\/sport\/draws.aspx?id=6E7FC8EF-04FF-44A4-AF22-FF0EFDD259CF\">CLICK HERE<\/a>\u00a0 for a link to the full draw.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>AMT Background<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The AMTs are semi-professional tournaments introduced by Tennis Australia in 2006.\u00a0 They are designed to create quality matchplay opportunities and help with the transition for post junior athletes.\u00a0 In 2010, the National Open Tournament brand was phased out and re-branded as a tiered circuit of AMT\u2019s \u2013 Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and White \u2013 based on prizemoney levels offered to the open events.\u00a0 To allow for the preservation and integrity of the brand and to provide product consistency to the consumer, a set of controlled delivery requirements has been aligned to each tier.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In total, 200 tournaments across Australia make up the Australian Money Tournament series in 2010, giving all players the opportunity to lower their Australian Ranking.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><em>Super <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/tournaments\/amt\/calendar\/\" target=\"_blank\">AMT Platinum Series (offering $15,000 in total prizemoney)<\/a><\/em><\/h4>\n<p><em>The original Australian Money Tournaments that were developed by Tennis Australia in 2006, the Platinum AMT\u2019s offer a total of $10,000 across the open events.\u00a0 These tournaments are the pinnacle in competition for tennis athletes outside of the Australian Pro Tour events, and provide maximum Australian Ranking points.\u00a0 There will be 32 Platinum AMT\u2019s held across the five major states across Australia.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The WA Open Super AMT is done and dusted for another year, with the winners displayed below.\u00a0 Men\u2019s Singles Final: Brydan Klein\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0Champion Gavin Van Peperzeel &#8211;\u00a0Runner Up Women\u2019s Singles Final:\u00a0 \u00a0Monique Adamczak &#8211;
