National Volunteers Week\u00a0provides\u00a0an opportunity to\u00a0recognise\u00a0the incredible people who give their time,\u00a0energy\u00a0and passion to help tennis thrive across Western Australia.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme, \u201cYour Year to Volunteer\u201d,\u00a0celebrates the impact volunteers have in creating welcoming,\u00a0inclusive\u00a0and connected communities through sport. From preparing courts and\u00a0organising\u00a0competitions to coaching juniors, running\u00a0events\u00a0and supporting club operations behind the scenes, volunteers are the heartbeat of tennis clubs across the state.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the week, Tennis West has proudly highlighted\u00a0a number of\u00a0outstanding volunteers and community leaders who have been\u00a0recognised\u00a0as finalists at the upcoming 2026 Tennis West Awards.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

KC Australia Volunteer Achievement Award Finalists\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

David Crothers \u2013 Claremont Lawn Tennis Club\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

David Crothers has played\u00a0a major role\u00a0in creating welcoming and engaging opportunities at the Claremont Lawn Tennis Club. Through his leadership,\u00a0dedication\u00a0and passion for community tennis, David continues to make a lasting impact on members and the broader tennis community.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sri\u00a0Adiyanti\u00a0\u2013 Onslow Park Tennis Club\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since 2019, Sri\u00a0Adiyanti\u00a0has been the welcoming and dependable heart of the Onslow Park Tennis Club community. From coordinating major events and mentoring young female leaders to supporting club communications and governance initiatives, Yanti\u2019s quiet leadership has helped create a safe,\u00a0inclusive\u00a0and connected environment for all.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Julianne Hill \u2013 Brunswick Tennis Club\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

For more than a decade, Julianne Hill has been the driving force behind the growth and transformation of the Brunswick Tennis Club. From leading major redevelopment projects to supporting junior programs and community events, Julianne\u2019s passion and commitment have helped shape the club into a thriving community hub.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Graham Johnson \u2013 Dandaragan Tennis Club\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Graham Johnson has dedicated more than 50 years to tennis in Dandaragan and across the Central Coastal Tennis Association. A respected player, coach and administrator, \u201cJohnno\u201d has coached generations of players, served as President of the Dandaragan Tennis Club for 19 years and recently received Life Membership recognition for his outstanding contribution to regional tennis.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Warren Davis \u2013 Northern Beaches Tennis Club\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

With more than four decades of service to community tennis, Warren Davis has made an enormous contribution both at the Northern Beaches Tennis Club and across Western Australia. Through committee leadership, tournament\u00a0organisation, fundraising and countless volunteer hours, Warren continues to help create a welcoming and thriving tennis environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kellie Ryan \u2013 Pilbara Region\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kellie Ryan has become a driving force behind tennis in the Pilbara through her passion,\u00a0leadership\u00a0and commitment to inclusion. As both coach and club president, Kellie delivers a wide range of programs designed to create fun and welcoming opportunities for players of all ages and abilities, while helping strengthen connections across the regional tennis community.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

National Volunteers Week is a reminder that every contribution matters, whether\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0helping run a sausage sizzle, coaching a junior player, serving on a\u00a0committee\u00a0or simply creating a welcoming environment at your local club.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
