Last year\u2019s finalist and top ranked seed Mahta Khanloo edged out Hiramatsu in the first set, winning the tie break before Hiramatsu fought back with a 6-2 second set win. Hiramatsu managed to hold firm in the third set match tie break, winning 10-6.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The third seed Hiramatsu came into the final after a nail-biting semi-final against Elena Manoj. Manoj was one set up and at one point in the final tie break set had two match points with Hiramatsu defending both to then clinch the win.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Khanloo was impressive on her way to the final, defeating Isabelle Chiew and seeded players Isabelle Criddle and Claudia Shearwood all in straight sets.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In the men\u2019s, number one seed Scott Jones was too good all tournament going into the final without dropping a set. Jones was pushed in the first set by last year&#8217;s WA Open men\u2019s champion Hans Bustiman, winning the first set 7-6 before showing his class to prevail 6-0 in the second set and win his second WA Open singles title. By winning the WA Open, Jones receives a wildcard entry into the main draw of the Perth Tennis International ITF M25 #1.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In the doubles finals, number one seeds Karin Hiramatsu and Claudia Shearwood defeated Isabelle Criddle and Jasmin Heapes 6-3 6-2.
