The highly anticipated Club Champion of Champions, presented by Grants Car Stereo, is set to make its return to Cottesloe Tennis Club for the second consecutive year.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

As one of the most prestigious events on the Tennis West calendar, the Club Champion of Champions brings together champions from each affiliated tennis club for an exciting knockout competition to determine the ultimate champion.<\/p>\n

First held in 1964, the inaugural winners were Dorothy Whitely (Lee) and Brian Bowman. Over the years, the event has seen multiple distinguished winners, including Christine Matison (Dorey), Paula Parentich, Gary Penberthy, and Rob Casey.<\/p>\n

After being discontinued in 1995, the Champion of Champions was reintroduced at the conclusion of the 2023-24 Summer League season.<\/p>\n

The 2025 event will take place over two weekends in April, hosted on the iconic grass courts of Cottesloe Tennis Club. The singles events will be held on April 12th and 13th, while the doubles competition will be played on April 26th and 27th.<\/p>\n

This exciting event aims to boost club member engagement while reestablishing the Champion of Champions as one of the most prominent events on the competitive tennis calendar. Players will earn the chance to represent their club at the Tennis West Champion of Champions Finals by winning their club’s singles and doubles titles.<\/p>\n

Club singles and doubles winners will be ranked according to their UTR, with players competing for a prize pool exceeding $10,000.<\/p>\n

The 2025 edition will feature new additions, including prizemoney for Division Two singles and the introduction of a mixed doubles event.<\/p>\n

Winners in all singles categories will receive a commemorative plaque to be displayed at their respective clubs.<\/p>\n

In last year\u2019s event, Peyton Duckett from Alexander Park claimed the women\u2019s singles title after defeating Jessie Culley from Peppermint Grove, while Hans Bustiman from UWA triumphed over Will Hann of Cottesloe in the men\u2019s singles. In the doubles events, sisters Alfee and Alice Stevens of Hensman Park won the women\u2019s doubles, while Adam Kehane and Cameron Norsworthy claimed victory in the men\u2019s doubles for Cottesloe.<\/p>\n

Champion of Champions singles and doubles entries will close Monday 7 April, 11.59 pm.<\/p>\n
