Nominations are open to represent Western Australia at the Tennis Seniors Australia National Teams Carnival in Adelaide, South Australia from January 5th – January 10th 2025.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The National Teams\u2019 Carnival consists of friendly but competitive interstate rivalry and provides ample opportunity to make new acquaintances.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teams of between four and eight players can be organised by players, or you can enter individually or as part of a team, and Tennis West in conjunction with Tennis Seniors WA, will endeavour to complete your team.<\/p>\n

Entry is $750 per team and $150 per player.<\/span><\/p>\n

Payment must be made online as a team.<\/p>\n

Format<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You compete in up to two time slots per day, with each fixture timed and lasting up to two and a half hours. All play is doubles.\u00a0You can introduce two new players if you have a team of 6-8 but only 6 can play in each match.<\/span><\/p>\n

Matches are played on grass and synthetics courts at five venues within 15 minutes of the CBD.<\/p>\n

Age groups are defined in five or ten year increments depending upon the number of entries.<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

To be eligible to participate in any age group, a player shall have reached the minimum age limit by 31st December of the year in which the competition is held.<\/span><\/p>\n

Timeline<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Opening Ceremony: Sunday 5 January 2025<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Presentation Dinner Friday 10 January 2025<\/p>\n

Round robin play starts on\u00a0Monday and goes to Thursday, with semi-finals and finals played on the Friday. The week culminates with a Presentation Dinner Dance on the Friday night.<\/span><\/p>\n

Should you choose to remain in Adelaide for the ITF MT1000 Individual Championships, play will not commence until the Sunday or Monday following.<\/p>\n
