{"id":18380,"date":"2023-03-24T10:47:05","date_gmt":"2023-03-24T02:47:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/?p=18380"},"modified":"2023-04-04T14:28:39","modified_gmt":"2023-04-04T06:28:39","slug":"sunsmart-schools-tennis-classic-metro-wrap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2023\/03\/24\/sunsmart-schools-tennis-classic-metro-wrap","title":{"rendered":"SunSmart Schools Tennis Classic \u2013 Wrap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Another season of the Metro SunSmart Schools Tennis Classic wrapped up last week with over 750 students and 28 schools from the metro region competed in the metro events over two weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All Academy Plate, Slazenger Cup, Mursell Shield and Herbert Edwards metro events were held at Alexander Park Tennis Club and Mt Lawley Tennis Club.<\/p>\n<p>This year, Tennis West naming rights partner in Heathway set up a SunSmart activations at both metro venues to provide an educational resource for students around the importance of being Sun Smart.
