{"id":15863,"date":"2020-11-03T14:09:58","date_gmt":"2020-11-03T06:09:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/?p=15863"},"modified":"2020-11-25T21:16:40","modified_gmt":"2020-11-25T13:16:40","slug":"180-harrisdale-ps-pre-primary-students-receive-brand-new-anz-tennis-hot-shots-racquets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2020\/11\/03\/180-harrisdale-ps-pre-primary-students-receive-brand-new-anz-tennis-hot-shots-racquets","title":{"rendered":"180 Harrisdale PS Pre-Primary students receive brand new ANZ Tennis Hot Shots racquets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Racquet Roadshow<\/strong> made a stop at <strong>Harrisdale Primary School<\/strong> this week, with <strong>180 Pre-Primary students<\/strong> receiving brand new tennis racquets all thanks to Tennis Australia\u2019s partnership with ANZ.<\/p>\n<p>The lucky Harrisdale PS students, who have just commenced their school based lessons, were handed the brand new racquets by <strong>Thornlie Tennis Club Coach Darren Draper\u00a0<\/strong>with some special racquet taps made to<strong> Tennis West Schools Coordinator Jenna Sparkes <\/strong>and <strong>Program Pathway Leader Ardian Fazliu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The students now join <strong>more than 30,000<\/strong> pre-primary school students from <strong>more than 800 <\/strong>schools across Australia benefiting from the <strong>2020<\/strong> <strong>National ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Racquet Roadshow. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By December, <strong>170,000 racquets<\/strong> will have been delivered to schools across Australia since 2015, thanks to ANZ. And with published reports continuing to discuss declining levels of activity in children, the free racquets will help get kids moving at school, home and in the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur partnership with ANZ will give another 3,000 kids across WA the opportunity to get active and lead a healthy lifestyle,\u201d commented <strong>Tennis West CEO Michael Roberts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTennis Australia\u2019s partnership with ANZ has helped us to put more racquets in children\u2019s hands than ever before.
