{"id":15850,"date":"2020-10-29T13:45:05","date_gmt":"2020-10-29T05:45:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/?p=15850"},"modified":"2020-11-25T21:16:47","modified_gmt":"2020-11-25T13:16:47","slug":"anz-tennis-hot-shots-racquet-roadshow-to-visit-boulder-ps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2020\/10\/29\/anz-tennis-hot-shots-racquet-roadshow-to-visit-boulder-ps","title":{"rendered":"ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Racquet Roadshow to visit Boulder PS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fifty Pre-Primary students from <strong>Boulder Primary School <\/strong>received brand new tennis racquets this week\u00a0as part of the national Tennis Australia partnership with ANZ.<\/p>\n<p>The Boulder PS students now join <strong>more than 30,000<\/strong> pre-primary school students from <strong>more than 800 <\/strong>schools across Australia benefiting from the <strong>2020<\/strong> <strong>National ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Racquet Roadshow. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The lucky Pre-Primary students were joined by seven-time Grand Slam Doubles champion, former doubles world No.1 and Davis Cup Championship player and Captain <strong>John \u2018Fitzy\u2019 Fitzgerald<\/strong> who dialed in for a virtual appearance. Passionate about inspiring the next generation of players, Fitzgerald says the game of tennis has lots to offer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are so many skills that kids can\u00a0develop at\u00a0a young age\u00a0by playing tennis, regardless of\u00a0whether\u00a0that\u2019s on the court, in their backyard or even in their lounge room\u201d\u00a0said Fitzgerald.<\/p>\n<p>By December, <strong>170,000 racquets<\/strong> will have been delivered to schools across Australia since 2015, thanks to ANZ.
