Notice is hereby given for the 117th Annual General Meeting<\/strong> of the Western Australian Tennis Association (Inc) trading as \u201cTennis West\u201d to be held on Thursday 29th October<\/strong> commencing at 6.30pm<\/strong> at Reabold Tennis Club<\/strong> (24 Oceanic Drv, Floreat)<\/p>\n

Please note the following important information:<\/p>\n

Venue:<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The AGM will this year be held at Reabold Tennis Club<\/strong>, located at 24 Oceanic Drv, Floreat at 6.30pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Recognized Delegates & Proxies<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Under the Tennis West Constitution, the President or Secretary is the appointed delegate for your club. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Should you wish to send another representative from your club<\/em> to the AGM to act as the club delegate, an Alternate Delegate Form<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0MUST be filled out and emailed to Tennis West (emazza@tennis.com.au<\/a>) or brought with the representative on the evening. \u00a0This form needs to be signed by the President or Secretary and the alternate delegate MUST be a current member of the Club\u2019s Committee<\/u>.<\/p>\n

Should you wish to appoint a Delegate of another Affiliated Body<\/em> to be the proxy of that absentee Delegate and to exercise the Delegate\u2019s votes, a Proxy Form<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>must be completed. .<\/p>\n

Please ensure you forward any relevant meeting information onto your appointed proxy.<\/p>\n

Please note the rules extracted from the Tennis West constitution surrounding Alternate Delegates and Proxies can be found on Page 2 & 3 of the Proxy Form and Alternate Delegates Form.<\/p>\n

We strongly recommend emailing through the form prior to the AGM so we can ensure it\u2019s validity prior to the meeting.<\/em><\/p>\n

Elections for Tennis West Board<\/strong><\/h5>\n

10 Nominations were received for the 2 Tennis West Director Positions for election at the AGM.<\/p>\n

Information regarding the nominees has been sent to each club.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Number of Votes<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The number of votes a club is entitled to is detailed in the constitution as 1 vote per club, plus one additional vote for every 50 current registered tennis users* of the club (as at the 30 June falling within the 12 months preceding the meeting). Should you wish to know in advance how many votes your club is entitled to, please email Paula Gates on paula.gates@tennis.com.au<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

*Registered User means a player who has used the facility in the last 12 months and the club has full access to their information such as name, email, phone number. This information, if required, can be viewed by Tennis West as part of an auditing process. Coaching participants cannot<\/u> be included unless the club has full access to these participant\u2019s details.<\/p>\n
