Runner up to Grand Slam Champion John Peers in the first instalment of the series, Jones forged his way through the second event, going undefeated to claim the Final 6-2, 6-3 over fellow US college student, Scott Webster.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Committed to making it an 11:1 win loss ratio for the three-part series, Jones is determined to make it back-to-back titles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The plan is to go back to back, that would make it 11 wins from 12 matches so that\u2019s what I\u2019ll be aiming for,\u2019 Jones said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The UTR Pro Tennis Series features events in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth, with players entering using their Universal Tennis Rating (UTR). As such, please note the following restrictions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily health and temperature checks for all on-site personnel, including onsite media.<\/li>\n<li>Physical distancing of 1.5 metres<\/li>\n<li>Minimal personnel on site including no fans and ballkids, reduced lines-people<\/li>\n<li>Additional hygiene practices and measures in place, including encouraging frequent handwashing and use of hand sanitiser<\/li>\n<li>Thorough cleaning practices, including between matches<\/li>\n<li>Players will tap racquet instead of shaking hands<\/li>\n<li>Separate player benches and players encouraged to change ends on opposite sides of the court<\/li>\n<li>Players advised to bring own towels, food and drinks<\/li>\n<li>Players to spend minimal time onsite and encouraged to arrive, play and depart, not use showers within the venue and limit their time in any communal area, all in accordance with the AIS Framework for Rebooting Sport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is a UTR? <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myutr.com\/\">Universal Tennis Rating (UTR)<\/a> is an international tennis rating system that connects millions of tennis players around the world to help them find better matches locally. UTR reflects a player\u2019s current skill level based on head-to-head match scores, and rates all players across age, gender and nationality on the same 16-point scale.
