{"id":14784,"date":"2019-11-18T13:27:10","date_gmt":"2019-11-18T05:27:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/?p=14784"},"modified":"2021-02-10T16:45:52","modified_gmt":"2021-02-10T08:45:52","slug":"north-beach-tournament-wins-at-wa-tennis-industry-awards-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2019\/11\/18\/north-beach-tournament-wins-at-wa-tennis-industry-awards-night","title":{"rendered":"North Beach Tournament Wins at WA Tennis Industry Awards Night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hosted by the <strong>North Beach Tennis Club<\/strong>, the 2019 North Beach Junior Classic has been named as the <strong>Most Outstanding Australian Ranking<\/strong> <strong>(AR) Tournament<\/strong> at the 2019 WA Tennis Industry Awards Night held at Optus Stadium in October.<\/p>\n<p>The award, which recognises tournaments which offer a complete package of on-and-off-court activities, and player amenities, so as to allow for a positive tournament atmosphere, was received on behalf of North Beach TC by Club Coach, Philipp Lamprecht.<\/p>\n<p>Attracting more than 230 entries across singles and doubles events for players ranging from 10s to 16\/U, the North Beach Junior Classic was held on the 13-16 April 2019, and was one of the club\u2019s most successful tournaments to date.<\/p>\n<p>Engaging a professional tournament director ensured that the clubs head coach and committee members were available to support players and parents throughout the event.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the professionalism of the event, the club committed to a dedicated tournament planning office, manicured grass courts, provisions for extra spectator seating, children\u2019s activities, Easter egg hunts, and canteen and bar facilities, to ensure a well-received event by all players, spectators, committee members and officials involved.<\/p>\n<p>Lamprecht says the award is a wonderful recognition of the clubs commitment and achievement in providing a first class AR tournament.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis award is recognition for an incredible team effort.
