It will be the third major Semifinal of the year for Peers, who also reached the final four at Wimbledon in a promising sign ahead of Australia\u2019s Davis Cup showdown with Belgium next week.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After winning the Australian Open Men\u2019s Doubles earlier this year, Peers took to the court at the State Tennis Centre in a Tennis West State League match alongside teammates from Mosman Park Tennis Club. He is again listed in the team for the 2017\/18 season alongside World Number 137 and Newport Open Finalist<strong> Matt Ebden, Brydan Klein<\/strong> (ranked World No 168 in Doubles), <strong>Brenton Bacon<\/strong> (c), <strong>Alex Downey<\/strong> and <strong>Gen Naraya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Former World Number 8, and current Fed Cup Captain, <strong>Alicia Molik <\/strong>will headline the Women\u2019s competition for Cottesloe Tennis Club, together with nineteen year old teammate, <strong>Maddison Inglis<\/strong>, who is currently ranked 29 in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tennis West CEO <strong>Michael Roberts<\/strong> is thrilled with the calibre of this year\u2019s players.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo have the likes of John Peers, Matt Ebden and Alicia Molik playing in our Tennis West State League is a real coup for WA tennis, and speaks volumes to the quality of the competition that our leagues provide\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese players will add an extra level of excitement to the competition, and it is fantastic that the WA community will get to watch players of this calibre at their local clubs, free of charge.\u201d Roberts said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Tennis West State League is the pinnacle team competition in Western Australia for professional players who are joined by the State\u2019s up-and-coming elite athletes. Fourteen Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s teams compete over fourteen home and away rounds at Clubs on Saturdays during the Summer for a prize pool of $20,000.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tennis West is
