In the Girls Final, reigning champions Hensman Park TC<\/strong> took home their fifth shield in 10 years after winning all 4 singles matches against Blue Gum Park TC.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hensman Park\u2019s Skye Royall<\/strong> defeated Tonya Glogowski-Watson<\/strong> 6-1 6-2 in a match much closer than the scores would suggest. In the number 2 spot, Hayley Burton<\/strong> defeated Ellyse Wilson <\/strong>6-1 6-4, whilst Team Captain Jaime Edwards<\/strong> had a convincing win against Sam Yeats <\/strong>6-3 6-0. In the final singles match, Caitlyn Napier<\/strong> secured the win against Belinda Jayamprakesh <\/strong>6-2 6-3.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the Boys Final, Alexander Park TC<\/strong> capitalised on their home ground advantage, winning all 4 singles matches against Hensman Park TC.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Alexander Park TC captain, Jerome Iaconi <\/strong>took out the first singles match 6-3, 6-1 against Tom Oliver, <\/strong>whilst William Shephard <\/strong>battled it out against Tyler Mizuhata <\/strong>to win in a tight contest 6-3, 7-6.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Reuben Giorgio <\/strong>won an epic three set match against Sebastian Dobbs <\/strong>6-3, 5-7,6-3, whilst Reuben\u2019s twin brother Oscar Giorgio<\/strong> was able to secure the win in two sets 6-2, 6-3 against Matthew Burton.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Congratulations to all Junior State League teams on a fantastic season of tennis!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n GIRLS STATE LEAGUE FINAL:<\/strong><\/p>\n Hensman Park TC v Blue Gum Park TC<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Hensman Park 4-8-48 def.
