{"id":11052,"date":"2016-03-11T17:38:19","date_gmt":"2016-03-11T09:38:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/?p=11052"},"modified":"2016-03-11T17:39:46","modified_gmt":"2016-03-11T09:39:46","slug":"grand-slam-ballots-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2016\/03\/11\/grand-slam-ballots-2016","title":{"rendered":"Grand Slam Ballots 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tennis Australia receives a small allocation of tickets for the French Open and Wimbledon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To ensure there is a fair and equitable distribution of these tickets, a ballot is conducted each year by Tennis Australia to allocate these tickets.\u00a0 As applications for tickets far exceeds supply there is no guarantee that applicants will receive tickets however every endeavour will be made to make an allotment to as many people as possible. This is a special service provided to Australian Open Members, Coach and Officials Membership of Tennis Australia and Club Members of a State\/Territory Association\/Registered Players.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for the ballot you must be a current Member of one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Australian Open Member<\/li>\n<li>Fed Cup Members<\/li>\n<li>Club Member of a State\/Territory Association\/Registered Players (who are currently registered on My Tennis)<\/li>\n<li>Coach and Officials Membership with ticketing upgrade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>In order to be eligible for the ballot, club members MUST be currently (2015\/2016) registered in My Tennis.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Members must be registered no later than <u>close of business Tuesday 15<sup>th<\/sup> March 2016.<\/u><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>No late registrations will be accepted.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Members must be registered <u>directly<\/u> to their club.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Clubs should ensure all members who wish to enter the ballots have a current My Tennis registration, and should contact their Participation Leader (Ardi, Brett or Paul) \u00a0if assistance is required.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The ballots will operate from 12pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 23<sup>rd<\/sup> March\u00a0until close of business Friday 31<sup>st<\/sup><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>March 2016.
