{"id":10217,"date":"2015-05-06T11:05:55","date_gmt":"2015-05-06T03:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/?p=10217"},"modified":"2015-05-06T11:05:55","modified_gmt":"2015-05-06T03:05:55","slug":"super-10s-challenge-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2015\/05\/06\/super-10s-challenge-day","title":{"rendered":"Super 10s Challenge Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/files\/2015\/05\/ten.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10218\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/files\/2015\/05\/ten.jpg\" alt=\"ten\" width=\"400\" height=\"260\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOn the 2nd\u00a0May 2015 the first <strong>Super 10&#8217;s Challenge Day<\/strong> was held at the State Tennis Centre.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A little over 60 athletes ranging from as young as 7 years to 10 years old and 4 Talent Development Coaches , National Academy Head Coach, State Academy Head Coach and Coach and Talent Development Manager were all present at the event.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The athletes were placed into groups then assigned a coach and court who toke them through a warm up then went straight into challenging and competitive drills and point play situations. A mix of half court singles, full court singles and doubles was played during the 4 hour Challenge Day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From the total number of athletes 16 boys and 16 girls will be selected to participate in the Super 10&#8217;s Competitions which runs from May 23rd to June 20th.
