A one off subsidy of $500 is available to eligible sporting clubs (refer to \u2018Club Equipment Subsidy Scheme Guidelines attached before completing your application).\u00a0 The CESS is part of the State Government\u2019s <em>Supporting Community Sport Initiative<\/em>, funded by the Royalties for Regions Program and the Department of Sport and Recreation.<\/p>\n<p>The WA State Government recognises the valuable role that sporting clubs play in communities across the State.\u00a0 Resources at sporting clubs are stretched, particularly with increased membership and the cost to supply\/replace equipment each year. \u00a0This subsidy will provide an opportunity for clubs to access funding to assist with purchasing what they need .<\/p>\n<p>Clubs can apply online at the DSR website from 17 March to 17 April 2015 at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dsr.wa.gov.au\/funding\/clubs\/club-equipment-subsidy\">http:\/\/www.dsr.wa.gov.au\/funding\/clubs\/club-equipment-subsidy<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Club Equipment Subsidy (CESS) provides funding to community sporting clubs for the purchase of sporting equipment for training and competition purposes.
