Victoria tennis shone\u00a0at the Newcombe Medal \u2013 Australian Tennis Awards last night, winning six of the 11 community\u00a0and coaching based awards on offer (outside of the elite player awards).<\/p>\n
The Victorian winners and their categories were:<\/p>\n
Coaching Excellence \u2013 Club Coaching Excellence \u2013 MLC Tennis Hot Shots Most Outstanding 35+ Tennis Senior Most Outstanding Club Volunteer Achievement Award Most Outstanding School (including $5,000 grant) Horskins, of Futures Tennis Academy in Stonnington, believes the quality of his programs helped him standout to win the Coaching Excellence \u2013 MLC Tennis Hot Shots award.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIt means the world [to me]! To be quite honest I didn\u2019t expect it at all.
