The 56th<\/sup> consecutive staging of the Victorian Country Inter-regional Championships\u00a0is coming\u00a0in early 2012 and regions are looking for their best players to represent them at this ‘blue ribbon’ event.<\/p>\n

Approximately 250 players compete at the three-day event that gives players from regional Victoria a unique opportunity to compete against some of the best players from all over Victoria.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe 2011 even was great,\u201d said Michael Mullen who competed for Barwon in 2011.<\/p>\n

\u201cMatches were very competitive and all the players competed in the true spirit of the game. The team camaraderie was great to be a part of.\u201d<\/p>\n

The championships cater for players in 12\/u-18\/u, open and 45+ age groups in both singles and doubles events.<\/p>\n
