His expertise is further recognised internationally through his Global Professional Tennis Certified Coach status at ATP Level A, along with his listing as an Elite Professional Coach with the United States Professional Tennis Association. These credentials reflect not only his technical knowledge but also his ability to work with players on a global performance pathway.<\/p>\n<p>Matt\u2019s impact is clearly visible through the success of his players. Most recently, his standout student Elena Tiutrina achieved a significant milestone by earning her first WTA ranking point at the Swan Hill ITF 25K event. This result highlights Matt\u2019s ability to guide athletes through the transition into professional competition and prepare them for the demands of the international stage.<\/p>\n<p>His coaching portfolio continues to demonstrate depth at the elite level. He currently works with two players who are part of the National Development Squad scholarship program, while also coaching another athlete competing as a Tennis Victoria Nationals player. In addition, Matt guided three players through Nationals qualifiers, with one that progressed into the main draw, reinforcing his strong presence in high-performance competition.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside his high-level player development, Matt has played a major role in strengthening club tennis. At Royal Park Tennis Club, he has helped grow participation and performance outcomes, with three junior players earning places in the 2026 Pennant competition. His ability to bridge grassroots development with competitive success is a key part of his coaching philosophy, ensuring players are supported throughout their entire pathway.<\/p>\n<p>Matt also leads structured, high-level training squads that continue to elevate standards across the board. His Tuesday Performance Squad at Taylors Lakes Tennis Club brings together 36 A Grade players for two-hour sessions focused on intensity, match play, and advanced skill development. Similarly, his Wednesday squad at Royal Park Tennis Club features around 20 predominantly A Grade players, creating another strong environment for competitive growth.<\/p>\n<p>Through consistent results, strong player relationships, and an unwavering commitment to development, Matt continues to make a lasting impact on the tennis community.
