This Saturday, Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club will host the <strong data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"558\">2025 Tennis Victoria Women\u2019s State Grade Grand Final<\/strong>, bringing together two powerhouse clubs: <strong data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"630\">Beaumaris Lawn Tennis Club<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"663\">Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"1107\">Both teams have earned their place after dominant seasons and statement-making semi-final victories. Beaumaris, the ladder leaders, finished seven points clear on top and showcased their depth with a commanding 5\u20130 win over Essendon in the semi-final. In 2025, she posted six singles wins alongside six doubles victories, underlining her reliability across formats.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1855\" data-end=\"2112\"><strong data-start=\"1855\" data-end=\"1868\">Ruby Ward<\/strong><br data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"1871\" \/>The standout of Beaumaris\u2019 campaign. With an 11\u20131 singles record and a 9\u20133 doubles tally, Ruby has been the team\u2019s anchor. A 2023 J30 Adelaide Junior International champion, she continues to rise as one of Victoria\u2019s brightest young stars.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2114\" data-end=\"2333\"><strong data-start=\"2114\" data-end=\"2128\">Serena Lee<\/strong><br data-start=\"2128\" data-end=\"2131\" \/>A product of Victoria\u2019s junior pathways, Serena represented the state at the Australian Team Championships in 2023. This season she has continued her momentum, winning five of her six singles matches.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2335\" data-end=\"2567\"><strong data-start=\"2335\" data-end=\"2355\">Georgiana Ruhrig<\/strong><br data-start=\"2355\" data-end=\"2358\" \/>A former WTA-ranked player (career high 1146), Georgiana adds top-level experience to Beaumaris\u2019 squad. Her 80% singles record and strong doubles play (5\u20132) have been key to the club\u2019s ladder-topping season.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2569\" data-end=\"2790\"><strong data-start=\"2569\" data-end=\"2584\">Eunsae Shin<\/strong><br data-start=\"2584\" data-end=\"2587\" \/>Bringing international experience, Eunsae has been outstanding in 2025, claiming nine singles wins and an equally strong doubles record (9\u20132). Her consistency has been invaluable throughout the season.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2792\" data-end=\"3034\"><strong data-start=\"2792\" data-end=\"2810\">Savannah James<\/strong><br data-start=\"2810\" data-end=\"2813\" \/>One of the younger faces in the Beaumaris line-up, Savannah has already impressed with wins on the ITF Junior circuit. In State Grade she\u2019s posted a 3\u20131 singles record, showing promise and composure in pressure moments. Winner of the 2025 Kooyong Club Championships, she has added doubles strength to the State Grade season, remaining unbeaten in her rubbers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3555\" data-end=\"3843\"><strong data-start=\"3555\" data-end=\"3585\">Charlotte Vanstone-McGrath<\/strong><br data-start=\"3585\" data-end=\"3588\" \/>An emerging talent with a junior ITF career-high of 616, Charlotte has made waves on the ITF circuit this year and represented Victoria at the Pizzy Cup. She has been excellent in State Grade, going unbeaten in singles (2\u20130) and strong in doubles (4\u20131).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3845\" data-end=\"4099\"><strong data-start=\"3845\" data-end=\"3867\">Gabrielle Villegas<\/strong><br data-start=\"3867\" data-end=\"3870\" \/>Kooyong\u2019s standout performer in 2025, Gabrielle has been flawless in singles (6\u20130) and near-perfect in doubles (5\u20131). With ITF Junior Tour experience and recent wins at UTR PTT events, she is in excellent form entering the final.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4101\" data-end=\"4276\"><strong data-start=\"4101\" data-end=\"4117\">Jasmin Starr<\/strong><br data-start=\"4117\" data-end=\"4120\" \/>A finalist at the 2025 Kooyong Club Championships, Jasmin has been a doubles specialist this season, winning four of five rubbers for an 80% success rate.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4278\" data-end=\"4486\"><strong data-start=\"4278\" data-end=\"4295\">Jessica Board<\/strong><br data-start=\"4295\" data-end=\"4298\" \/>Jessica\u2019s junior ITF career included a J125 title in Sale earlier this year. In State Grade, she has shown doubles dominance with a perfect 4\u20130 record, complementing her singles efforts.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4488\" data-end=\"4745\"><strong data-start=\"4488\" data-end=\"4504\">Louise Field<\/strong><br data-start=\"4504\" data-end=\"4507\" \/>A former top-100 WTA player, Louise brings elite pedigree and experience, having reached Grand Slam second rounds and the US Open third round in her career. This season she has been perfect in doubles (6\u20130), alongside four singles wins.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4747\" data-end=\"4970\"><strong data-start=\"4747\" data-end=\"4761\">Mahi Khore<\/strong><br data-start=\"4761\" data-end=\"4764\" \/>With a career-high ITF ranking of 598 and a doubles finals appearance on the ITF World Tennis Tour in 2025, Mahi has gone unbeaten in singles (5\u20130) during State Grade, making her a key player for Kooyong.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4972\" data-end=\"5212\"><strong data-start=\"4972\" data-end=\"4989\">Zoe Llewellyn<\/strong><br data-start=\"4989\" data-end=\"4992\" \/>The 2023 Women\u2019s State Grade Player of the Year, Zoe continues to lead with consistency. In 2025 she has balanced her singles and doubles workload with four wins apiece, making her a major player in the Kooyong line-up.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5214\" data-end=\"5419\"><strong data-start=\"5214\" data-end=\"5234\">Amelia Zylberman<\/strong><br data-start=\"5234\" data-end=\"5237\" \/>A finalist at the UTR PTT Brisbane event this year, Amelia has been clinical in singles (2\u20130) and a steady doubles contributor. She adds further depth to Kooyong\u2019s strong rotation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5421\" data-end=\"5593\"><strong data-start=\"5421\" data-end=\"5438\">Abbey Nikolic<\/strong><br data-start=\"5438\" data-end=\"5441\" \/>One of Kooyong\u2019s rising juniors, Abbey is unbeaten in State Grade singles (4\u20130) and doubles (1\u20130), adding energy and composure to the team\u2019s campaign.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"5421\" data-end=\"5593\">Grand Final<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5622\" data-end=\"5843\">Beaumaris Lawn Tennis Club enter Saturday\u2019s final carrying confidence from a season of consistency and depth. Ruby Ward\u2019s singles dominance and the experience of Ruhrig and Shin will be central to their challenge.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5845\" data-end=\"6054\">Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club, meanwhile, arrive with momentum and power.
