With a clear and strategic approach, the club has built a culture where women and girls of all ages and abilities feel welcome, supported, and encouraged to participate and lead.<\/p>\n<p>At the heart of this progress is <strong>Club Captain Emma Kate MacCarthy<\/strong>, whose leadership and passion for inclusion was recognised last year with a <strong>Women in Sport Award<\/strong>. Her impact has been instrumental in driving change and inspiring others across the club.<\/p>\n<p>A standout contributor from Beaumaris Lawn Tennis Club,\u00a0<strong>Emma Kate <\/strong>is also a graduate of the <strong>Women Leaders in Tennis<\/strong> program. Her efforts have helped establish a range of meaningful opportunities including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Girls-only multi-age training sessions<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dedicated coaching classes for girls<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Support for girls entering competitions<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The club\u2019s momentum continues to build, with <strong>four women having completed the Women Leaders in Tennis program<\/strong>, and one junior completing the <strong>Learn 2 Lead<\/strong> program. They\u2019ve also introduced exciting initiatives such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>#NoLimits Girls Squad<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>State-grade girls training sessions<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>All-ages women\u2019s coaching programs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Beaumaris is also investing in future leadership by encouraging youth to step up through programs like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/future-leaders\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Future Leaders<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/community\/leadership-programs\/learn-2-lead\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Learn 2 Lead<\/strong><\/a>, building strong participation and leadership pathways.<\/p>\n<p>Well done to everyone at Beaumaris Lawn Tennis Club.
