Bendigo Regional Tennis Centre<\/strong>\u00a0is set to host the first of\u00a0Tennis Victoria\u2019s Regional Team Event Series (RTE) of 2025<\/strong>, with the 10\/U, 12\/U, 14\/U and Junior Open events taking place on\u00a017 and 18 May 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The RTE is a qualifying event for all our Country regions to represent their region at the Victorian State Teams Championships held in February 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of country Victoria\u2019s best young talent will be on show this weekend at the Regional Team Event Series #1 in Bendigo. We encourage the local community to attend and witness some high-quality tennis.\u00a0It’s a brilliant opportunity and privilege for the Bendigo Regional Tennis Centre to host the event, especially considering the economic impact it will have on the region,\u201d <\/em>Tennis Victoria CEO, Kim Kachel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event will see 120 athletes across 10 of our 11 country regions and is made possible by the support of City of Greater Bendigo.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe City is delighted to support the Tennis Victoria\u2019s Regional Team Event Series (RTE) at our superb Bendigo Regional Tennis Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for the community to enjoy the best in regional tennis and watch rising stars in action,\u201d<\/em> City of Greater Bendigo Manager Economy & Experience James Myatt<\/strong> said.<\/p>\n

The event will allow players to represent their region and enjoy a weekend of competitive playing opportunities in singles and mixed doubles, with one region to be crowned the winner of each age group. The Bendigo Region will be well represented in all age groups over the weekend.<\/p>\n
