Lizette Cabrera<\/strong>\u00a0(AUS)\u00a0and\u00a0Blake Ellis<\/strong>\u00a0(AUS)\u00a0are the\u00a02025 Swan Hill International champions after taking out the singles titles in\u00a0Swan Hill, Victoria\u00a0yesterday.\u00a0Swan Hill Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club took center stage as the host of this exciting event, bringing together talented players for a thrilling competition.<\/p>\n

First seed Cabrera defeated\u00a0Sakura Hosogi<\/strong>\u00a0(JPN) 6-4 6-3\u00a0to claim back-to-back ITF championships titles after winning the Mildura International just last week. Both Cabrera and Hosogi struggled to hold serve in the first set however Cabrera came out on top after the 6th<\/sup> deuce and continued with this momentum moving into the second.<\/p>\n

On the men\u2019s side, second seed\u00a0Blake Ellis overcame fellow Australian\u00a0Dane Sweeny<\/strong>\u00a0(AUS) 2-6 6-3 7-6[7-4] in just over 2 and a half hours. Having reached the semi-final in Mildura, Ellis fought to claim his second ITF victory in Swan Hill. The match was back and fourth with Sweeny dominating in the first, Ellis in the second and a close set in the third.<\/p>\n

In the Men’s Doubles final\u00a0[2] Joshua Charlton (AUS) & Ajeet Rai (NZL) claimed the victory over [1] Jake Delaney (AUS) & Jesse Delaney (AUS) defeating them 6-4 6-4. In the Women’s Doubles Final\u00a0Ayumi Miyamoto (JPN) & Stefani Webb (AUS) deafted Monique Barry (NZL) & Elena Micic (AUD) 6-3 4-6 [10-4].\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
