International tennis is making its way to Mildura as the Australian Pro Tour <\/strong>continues at the historic\u00a0Mildura Lawn Tennis Club<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0Sunday 9 March to Sunday 16 March<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a02025 Mildura International<\/strong>\u00a0is set to showcase an impressive lineup of Aussie talent, featuring notable Australian Open competitors Jason Kubler, Omar Jasika<\/strong>, Dane Sweeny, Blake Ellis,\u00a0Jaimee Fourlis,<\/strong>\u00a0Elena Micic <\/strong>and\u00a0Lizette Cabrera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Leading the men’s field is\u00a0Omar Jasika\u00a0<\/strong>(Vic), the tournament\u2019s No. 1 seed, who recently reached the final of the\u00a0Burnie International\u00a0against fellow Aussie\u00a0Jason Kubler\u00a0<\/strong>(Qld). Kubler, a former Davis Cup representative and top-100 player, enters the Mildura International fresh off his Burnie M25 and Launceston M25 victory.<\/p>\n

Other standouts include Queensland\u2019s No. 3 seed Blake Ellis <\/strong>and multiple time tour winner Dane Sweeny<\/strong>, while regional talent\u00a0Josh Charlton<\/strong>\u00a0(Vic) from Traralgon adds local interest to the field.<\/p>\n

The women’s draw is equally compelling,headlined by Lizette Cabrera <\/b>(Qld) who just last week claimed victory against Sakura Hosogi<\/b> (JPN) at the Launceston International. Cabrera is joined by Victorian favourite\u00a0Jaimee Fourlis<\/strong>\u00a0(Vic) who recently reached the semi-final of the Burnie International, while emerging Victorian talent\u00a0Elena Micic<\/strong>\u00a0(Vic) is set to make her mark.\u00a0Gabriella Da Silva Fick<\/strong>\u00a0(NSW) also returns to the grass, having won the Swan Hill title last year, and will also be competing in Tennis Victoria\u2019s Premier League.<\/p>\n

The Mildura International is the first of two grass-court events on the Australian Pro Tour, offering a combined prize pool of USD $60,000 \u2013 allocating $30,000 each to the men’s and women’s ITF Futures categories. Participants will also have the opportunity to earn valuable world ranking points on the natural grass courts of Mildura.<\/p>\n
