Romsey Tennis Club Wins Big Through Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Romsey Tennis Club has served up a major win \u2013 not just on the court, but through their commitment to sustainability and fundraising. As the top-performing club in the recent Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme x Tennis Victoria competition, Romsey was rewarded with an unforgettable experience: attending the Australian Open Men\u2019s Singles Final<\/strong> and receiving an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour.<\/p>\n

The club has been a dedicated participant in\u00a0Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme<\/strong>, raising over $1,800<\/strong> to support much-needed court upgrades.<\/p>\n

“Winning the prize was an incredible moment for our club,”<\/em> said Deborah Rees, Treasurer Romsey Tennis Club. “We\u2019re only a small club, but this competition showed that success isn\u2019t about size<\/em> \u2013 it\u2019s about having dedicated members who are willing to do the work. All of our members are proud of what we\u2019ve achieved, and the prize was well deserved.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Club representatives Jack, Brett, Deborah, <\/strong>and Mitchell<\/strong> attended the Men\u2019s Singles Final<\/strong>, with the behind-the-scenes tour proving to be a highlight.<\/p>\n

“Thank you to Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme and Tennis Victoria for this incredible experience \u2013 we had an amazing day,”<\/em> Deborah said. “It\u2019s fantastic to see a corporate organisation partnering with Tennis Victoria to create meaningful opportunities like this.”<\/em><\/p>\n
