As we headed towards the final few days of the 2025 Australian Open (AO25), we still had a few more Victorians in the race to win. With Jin Woodman<\/strong> playing Quad Wheelchair Singles and Doubles alongside fellow Victorian Finn Broadbent<\/strong>, as well as Victorian John Peers<\/strong> partnered up with Queenslander Olivia Gadecki<\/strong> in the Mixed Doubles.<\/p>\n

Day 11:<\/h3>\n

In the Quad Wheelchair Singles Quarterfinals, Jin Woodman<\/strong> faced Ahmet Kaplan<\/strong> from Turkey, with Kaplan winning 6-2, 6-4.<\/p>\n

In the Quad Wheelchair Doubles Quarterfinals, Victorians Jin Woodman<\/strong> and Finn Broadbent<\/strong> defeated Brazilians Ymanitu Silva<\/strong> and Leandro Pena<\/strong> in straight sets, 6\u20133, 7\u20136(11), with the second set decided in an exciting tiebreak.<\/p>\n

John Peers<\/strong> and Olivia Gadecki<\/strong> triumphed over New Zealand\u2019s Erin Routliffe<\/strong> and Michael Venus<\/strong> in their mixed doubles match, 6-4, 6-4.<\/p>\n

Day 12:<\/h3>\n

In the Quad Wheelchair Doubles Semifinals, Woodman<\/strong> and Broadbent<\/strong> faced Guy Sasson<\/strong> (Israel) and Neils Vink<\/strong> (Netherlands) but were defeated 6-0, 6-1.<\/p>\n

Day 13:<\/h3>\n

In an exciting all-Aussie mixed doubles final, John Peers<\/strong> and Olivia Gadecki<\/strong>\u00a0managed to overcome Kimberly Birrell<\/strong> and John-Patrick Smith<\/strong> 3-6, 6-4, [10-6] to claim the AO2025 Mixed Doubles Trophy.<\/p>\n
