Our November Community Champion is Darren Anderson from South Gisborne Tennis Club. Darren is a player whose love for tennis shines through his dedication to competition and his commitment to introducing family and friends to the sport.<\/p>\n
For over 20 years, Darren and his family of five have been a mainstay in every competition the South Gisborne Tennis Club has been part of. Whether it\u2019s Tuesday nights or weekend matches, Darren’s presence on the court has been unwavering.\u00a0 His family and friends have become a regular fixture in his Thursday night competition team, which includes his sons and their friends. Together, this team has played for over 15 years, marking it as the club\u2019s longest-running team.<\/p>\n
Darren\u2019s spirit and passion for tennis never wavers. He\u2019s always ready for the next season, rallying the team with a positive attitude and ensuring everyone gets on court. His calm, no-fuss nature and reliability are embraced by all, especially the young players who look up to him as a supportive and encouraging figure.<\/p>\n
