Victoria’s Community Endorsed Tournaments are on the rise, offering clubs and associations the perfect opportunity to showcase local talent and foster community engagement. These tournaments,\u00a0which are distinct from the Junior Tour and Open Series, form the foundation of our broader tournament pathway.<\/p>\n
Community Endorsed tournaments can take many forms including Club Championships, Club \/ Association Tournaments, single day tournaments or mass participation tournaments (e.g. Easter, Labour Day or other long weekend tournaments). These tournaments are designed to be flexible, allowing clubs to\u00a0provide a localised first step for juniors or adults\u00a0<\/span>in their community.<\/p>\n Whilst there is no requirement to have officials at this level of tournament, support can be arranged in consultation with Tennis Vic and Tennis Australia. In 2025, there will again be no sanctioning fee associated with Community Endorsed Tournaments. Plus, all endorsed tournaments will contribute to a player\u2019s UTR rating.<\/p>\n If you wish to host a Community Endorsed Tournament in 2025, you will need to submit your application form prior to 27 September 2024<\/span>.<\/p>\n Please note, all a<\/span>pplications must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the tournament’s start date<\/span>.
