Congratulations to the June Affiliate of the Month, Horsham Lawn Tennis Club.<\/p>\n

Established in 1883 at the Horsham Botanical Gardens along the Wimmera River, the club has the perfect set up for tennis with club rooms overlooking 24 magnificent grass courts.<\/p>\n

The facilities were showcased when the club hosted Tennis Victoria major events; the 66th Inter-Regional Country Championships in 2022 and the Pat Cash Cup in February 2023 and 2024.<\/p>\n

The club is run by a great group of volunteers who work tirelessly to keep the grass courts up to standard.<\/p>\n

With a range of range of programs on offer from Hot Shots through to senior competition, the club has rallied around junior tennis \u2013 hosting the most junior teams in the Central Wimmera Tennis Association. When the club was experiencing waterlogged courts in 2022\u00a0they worked proactively to relocate and reschedule matches to ensure all juniors were able to keep playing.<\/p>\n

The Horsham Lawn Tennis Club continues to work\u00a0with local council and Tennis Victoria through the Thriving Tennis Communities.<\/p>\n
