The 2024 12\/u & 14\/u Australian Claycourt Championships have concluded with a spectacular showcase of talent and determination. Held at the Canberra Tennis Centre, this prestigious event brought together 128 of Australia’s most promising junior athletes, representing various states and territories.<\/p>\n
Tennis Victoria is thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our finalists from Victoria, who showcased exceptional skill and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.<\/p>\n
Ana Maric, representing Victoria, emerged as a standout in the 12\/u competition, claiming victory in both the girls\u2019 singles and girls\u2019 doubles events. Partnering with Lara Wu from South Australia, Maric demonstrated remarkable prowess on the clay courts, winning all nine matches she contested and dropping just a single set.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on her success, Maric expressed her delight with the facilities and the quality of play at the championships.<\/p>\n
In the 14\/u division, Victoria’s representation continued to shine with notable performances in both singles and doubles events. Hayoto Sata and Jonathan Zhang secured victory in the boys\u2019 doubles, and Raphael Savelli secured the victory in the 14\/u Mixed Doubles alongside partner Vesna Marinkov from New South Wales.<\/p>\n
