{"id":36675,"date":"2024-01-23T00:30:23","date_gmt":"2024-01-22T13:30:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/?p=36675"},"modified":"2024-01-23T00:30:24","modified_gmt":"2024-01-22T13:30:24","slug":"luke-missen-and-remi-foster-win-in-the-oceania-para-standing-tennis-championship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/news\/2024\/01\/23\/luke-missen-and-remi-foster-win-in-the-oceania-para-standing-tennis-championship","title":{"rendered":"Luke Missen and Remi Foster win in the Oceania Para-Standing Tennis Championship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to <strong>Luke Missen<\/strong>\u00a0(Vic) on winning the PST 4 category and <strong>Remi Foster <\/strong>(Vic)\u00a0on winning the PST 3 category in the\u00a0<strong>Oceania Para-Standing Tennis Championship<\/strong> on Sunday 21 January at Grace Park Hawthorn Club.<\/p>\n<p>Luke is from Eagle Point, East Gippsland and is a <strong>Tennis Australia Trainee Coach <\/strong>member after completing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/2024-TA-Trainee-VIC-Melbourne-February-CourseInformation.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Community Coaching Course<\/strong><\/a> recently in Bairnsdale.<\/p>\n<p>Remi, 12, has been playing tennis for six years and is continuing to excel in the sport. Remi is from Melbourne, Victoria and plays tennis in Kew.<\/p>\n<p>Players competed in one of four categories, depending on whether they were short-statured, have cerebral palsy, an acquired brain injury, or limb deficiencies or loss.
