Congratulations to Luke Missen<\/strong>\u00a0(Vic) on winning the PST 4 category and Remi Foster <\/strong>(Vic)\u00a0on winning the PST 3 category in the\u00a0Oceania Para-Standing Tennis Championship<\/strong> on Sunday 21 January at Grace Park Hawthorn Club.<\/p>\n

Luke is from Eagle Point, East Gippsland and is a Tennis Australia Trainee Coach <\/strong>member after completing a Community Coaching Course<\/strong><\/a> recently in Bairnsdale.<\/p>\n

Remi, 12, has been playing tennis for six years and is continuing to excel in the sport. Remi is from Melbourne, Victoria and plays tennis in Kew.<\/p>\n

Players competed in one of four categories, depending on whether they were short-statured, have cerebral palsy, an acquired brain injury, or limb deficiencies or loss. Across the 4 categories, competitors resided from Australia, Chile, Brazil, USA, UK, Japan and New Zealand.<\/p>\n

Luke has a strong sporting background and has previously twice competed in the World Dwarf Games (held every four years) in soccer, badminton and basketball.<\/p>\n
