Over the last few weeks, our Junior Victorian’s took part in the December Showdown – the Australian Junior Tour Masters.<\/p>\n
Daniel Jovanovski has repeated his December Showdown triumph of last year, when he swept the 14\/U national championships, as he claimed the 2023 16\/U Boys\u2019 Singles title.<\/span><\/p>\n The Victorian defeated New South Wales\u2019 Chase Zhao in a tight 6-4 7-6(3) battle, to become back-to-back December Showdown champion in front of a vocal home crowd.<\/span><\/p>\n Musemma Cilek (Vic) with partner Hannah Park (SA) won the 12\/U Girls Doubles while Yile Li and Christopher Manton teamed up to win the 12\/U Boys Doubles.<\/p>\n Musemma Cilek fell short to Hannah Park in the Girls Singles final to claim the Runners Up trophy.<\/p>\n Lachlan King had a great month by finishing up as a finalist in both the 14\/U Boys Singles Final and the 14\/U Boys Doubles finals alongside fellow Victorian Nikolas Baker. Well done to you both!<\/p>\n In the 16\/U Boys Doubles, Luca Connaughton and Sam Simmonds fell short in the final to claim the Runners Up title, while Bridget Milhulka also finished Runners Up in the 16\/U Girls Doubles final.
