Australia earned its place in the Finals from the Asia \/ Oceania qualifying event held in Malaysia in March.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Teams will compete in a round-robin style format, with the top countries progressing to an elimination quarterfinal stage. Each tie will consist of two singles and a doubles match.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Australia has been drawn in Pool A, against Romania, Brazil and Paraguay. The first day of play (Monday 7 August, 2023) saw the Australian team post a 3-0 win over Paraguay.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tennis Victoria wishes Kohara and team Australia good luck as they take on the world!
