{"id":30282,"date":"2023-04-14T16:11:14","date_gmt":"2023-04-14T06:11:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/?p=30282"},"modified":"2023-05-15T06:06:07","modified_gmt":"2023-05-14T20:06:07","slug":"itf-melbourne-wheelchair-classic-hits-record-number-of-juniors-entrants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/news\/2023\/04\/14\/itf-melbourne-wheelchair-classic-hits-record-number-of-juniors-entrants","title":{"rendered":"ITF Melbourne Wheelchair Classic hits record number of juniors entrants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ITF Melbourne Wheelchair Classic returns to Melbourne from 14 &#8211; 16 April with more junior entrants than ever before.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Twelve junior wheelchair tennis players will participate in the tournament, across the three days.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year\u2019s tournament has the highest number of junior wheelchair participants that we have ever seen at an ITF Futures level before,\u201d said Tournament Director<strong> Daniel O\u2019Neill<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is reflective of the great role models we\u2019ve had in the sport in recent times like Dylan Alcott, Heath Davidson and Ben Weekes.
