The 12\/U Regional Zone Squads for Term 1 & 2 2023 are now taking Expressions of Interest which can be accessed here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zone Squads are a part of the Tennis Australia Player Development Pathway which will work to increase participation at the performance level of development by creating more opportunities to more aspiring Australian junior tennis players. This program will also enable Tennis Australia to engage some of the great private coaches we have across Australia as we appoint selected coaches as \u2018Zone Coaches\u2019 who will be responsible for the facilitation of these sessions.<\/p>\n

For Victoria, we have identified three 12U Regional Zone Squads being; Bendigo, Surf Coast & Traralgon<\/u><\/em><\/strong>. These Zone Squads will be facilitated by our Victorian Zone Squad Coaches. Each Regional Zone Squad will comprise of four * 2.5 hour training sessions per term, at a player cost of $12.50 per hour. Specifics surrounding each program will be communicated once players are selected, with 4 girls & 4 boys being selected based on UTR from the region they reside and proximity to the closest Zone Squad.<\/p>\n

In order to be eligible for this player development program, players must;<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Be of age as of April 30th<\/sup>, 2023 (eg a player turning 13 on April 30, 2023 would not be eligible for the 12U Regional Zone Squad).<\/li>\n

    If you don\u2019t have a revolutioiseSPORT account, in order to register as a member and obtain a National Member ID which allows registration for squads, please follow the below instructions:<\/em><\/p>\n

    1. Click the link\u00a0revolutioniseSPORT Registration Link<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

    2. Select \u2018New Member\u2019 and then complete the required fields.<\/p>\n

    3. You will be sent an email with username, National Member ID and a password reset.<\/p>\n

    4. Once registered and logged in click on \u2018events\u2019 at the top of the page and select the relevant event\u00a0\u2013 This will be;\u00a0VIC \u2013 12U Regional Zone Squad Expression of Interest Semester 1 2023<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

    We would kindly request that you register your interest to be selected for this Zone Squad program by\u00a0Thursday<\/strong> December 15th\u00a0<\/sup>2022<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    It is important that you know this squad program is envisioned as an optional addition to your current weekly schedule that you have with your private coach. Should you be selected, it is intended to complement your weekly schedule by providing further on court training, strength and conditioning and match play opportunities.<\/p>\n
