{"id":28946,"date":"2022-10-28T16:12:51","date_gmt":"2022-10-28T05:12:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/?p=28946"},"modified":"2022-10-28T16:12:51","modified_gmt":"2022-10-28T05:12:51","slug":"celebrating-aron-lombardi-on-world-teachers-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/news\/2022\/10\/28\/celebrating-aron-lombardi-on-world-teachers-day","title":{"rendered":"Celebrating Aron Lombardi on World Teacher&#8217;s Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aron Lombardi has a passion for his profession and fortunately for our sport of tennis as well, he\u2019s a fantastic advocate for the sport at his school and local community.<\/p>\n<p>Some of Aron\u2019s efforts to grow tennis recently in his community include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Delivering two amazing days of tennis at Caroline Springs Tennis Club for district competition in Caroline Springs with 8 schools involved.<\/li>\n<li>His students won both the girls and boys competitions at the district event, with the boys not dropping a game for the entire 14 rounds.<\/li>\n<li>He hosted a fantastic Grade 3\/4 Tennis Hot Shots Competition for the Caroline Springs District at Christ the Priest Catholic Primary School and were able to win both the boys and girls competition<\/li>\n<li>Hosted the Keilor Division Championships<\/li>\n<li>Set up an official Tennis Lesson program at the school through Itennis<\/li>\n<li>Significantly strengthened the bond between the school and the Caroline Springs Tennis Club<\/li>\n<li>Has facilitated students from grades 3-6 playing and practicing tennis every lunchtime<\/li>\n<li>Supported more students to play tennis outside of school<\/li>\n<li>Helped grow the perception\u00a0 and interest in tennis at the school<\/li>\n<li>Participated in the National Teachers Tennis survey<\/li>\n<li>Participated in the Positive Start Classroom to Court program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aron\u2019s passion for tennis and the development of his students is clear.
