Later that year, at the Maccabiah Games in Israel, she met her Dutch husband, Henri, and went to live in Holland. She became National Champion of The Netherlands and represented Holland at Wimbledon and in the Federation Cup.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Driftwood<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<strong><em>\u2013\u00a0The\u00a0Musical<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0tells\u00a0the\u00a0inspirational story of\u00a0the\u00a0renowned Austrian\/Australian sculptor Karl Duldig and his artist\/inventor wife, Slawa Horowitz-Duldig. We follow\u00a0their lives in pre-war Vienna, Slawa\u2019s ingenious invention of\u00a0the\u00a0foldable umbrella, and an incredible chain of events after miraculously escaping\u00a0the\u00a0Holocaust and rebuilding\u00a0their careers as artists in Melbourne. A magical story of art and creativity, survival and perseverance, family, freedom and love.<\/p>\n<p>This epic story has been adapted for\u00a0the\u00a0stage by award-winning playwright\u00a0<strong>Jane Bodie<\/strong>, based on\u00a0the\u00a0original memoir by\u00a0<strong>Eva de Jong-Duldig<\/strong>. It features original Music and Arrangements by\u00a0<strong>Anthony Barnhill<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0Lyrics by\u00a0<strong>Tania de Jong AM<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Jane Bodie<\/strong>.
