It\u2019s lights, camera, action at Coburg Tennis Club, having recently been named as one of the Jemena 2021 Community Grants recipients.<\/p>\n
The grant, worth $10,000, will be put towards installing new energy efficiency lighting on their junior Hot Shots court. This will provide increased access to night-time play and coaching during winter, and will assist the club in engaging with children who cannot attend daytime sessions, and players with a vision impairment.<\/p>\n
The club’s selection is an incredible achievement in a fiercely competitive field; Jemena received applications from almost fifty applicants across Victoria and New South Wales.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith 49 applications across both States, we have been overwhelmed by both the interest in and caliber of grants applications this year,\u201d said Usman Saadat, General Manager Customer and Commercial at Jemena.<\/p>\n
