Welcome to the June Edition of the Tennis Victoria News.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I hope you are keeping safe as we\u00a0make it through the latest outbreak in Victoria.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Following\u00a0the latest outbreak and the extension of the latest lockdown period for Metropolitan Melbourne, Tennis Victoria has made the decision to switch to an online Community Tennis Forum\u00a0for\u00a0the announcement of the new Tennis Victoria Strategy for Tuesday June 29 at 7pm.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Please register your\u00a0online\u00a0attendance\u00a0for the forum\u00a0by\u00a0clicking\u00a0<\/span>here<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On to more positive stories!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It was great to see some Victorian\u00a0tennis\u00a0facilities\u00a0recognised\u00a0as part of receiving the Victorian Government\u2019s Community Sports Infrastructure Stimulus Program. Congratulations to the\u00a0<\/span>facilities that received funding<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and thank you to the local government authorities for your ongoing support of Tennis in your\u00a0communities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s always great seeing new people play this great game. A great example of this was a new partnership between\u00a0<\/span>Kew Tennis Club and Andale School<\/span><\/a>\u00a0earlier this month.\u00a0If your club is ever wanting to make connections with your local school but\u00a0don\u2019t know where to start, please connect with your local\u00a0<\/span>Tennis Victoria representative<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, congratulations to Enzo\u00a0Aguiard, who is one of our talented\u00a0Victorians\u00a0<\/span>ready to make the journey across the\u00a0United States of America<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to play College Tennis\u00a0later in 2021.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And lastly, if you are in Regional Victoria, make sure you keep a look out for some buses and signs to encourage your local area to Play Tennis!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
