\nMAKING SENSE OF THE GAME SENSE APPROACH WHEN TEACHING NET\/WALL SPORTS<\/strong><\/p>\n
18 June 2021<\/strong> A Game Sense approach in physical education places the game at the heart of the session. It encourages the player to develop skills in a realistic context, to become more tactically aware, to make better decisions and to have more fun. Applying the Game Sense approach, this practical workshop will identify generic tactical problems and solutions within net\/wall sports through focusing on a variety of tennis games and play practices. These games will form the foundation for enhanced game understanding and performance in other sports in the net\/wall category and broaden your teaching repertoire of net\/wall games.<\/p>\n Secondary:<\/strong> 21 June 2021<\/strong> A Game Sense approach in physical education places the game at the heart of the session. It encourages the player to develop skills in a realistic context, to become more tactically aware, to make better decisions and to have more fun. Applying the Game Sense approach, this practical workshop will present a variety of tennis games and play practices designed to maximise participation of primary students of differing abilities. Through modification of key aspects of the game, this session will demonstrate how the content can be applied to other sports in the net\/wall category.<\/p>\n
