The Wayne Arthurs Cup<\/strong> is coming to Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club <\/strong>with some of the state\u2019s young stars ready to tackle the red porous courts this weekend<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Being one of Tennis Victoria\u2019s nine Regional Team Events<\/strong>, the Wayne Arthurs Cup is a representative tennis competition for boys and girls aged 10 years and under.<\/p>\n

The round robin tournament, open to Tennis Victoria country regions and metropolitan associations, will this year see 15 Tennis Victoria regions and associations with 60 players participating.<\/p>\n

Each round will consist of four singles matches and two mixed doubles matches played across two days of competition.<\/p>\n

Following the round robin on Saturday<\/strong>, the final and playoffs will be played on Sunday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tennis Victoria Acting CEO, Adam Crameri<\/strong> is excited for the opportunity that the Wayne Arthurs Cup brings to young tennis players around Victoria.<\/p>\n

Australian Tennis legend, Wayne Arthurs,<\/strong> is excited to follow the progress of the young tennis players playing in this representative event.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis event, with its unique format, has become a great highlight on the under 10 calendar. It has always been a passion of mine to help and inspire the young, up and coming Australian tennis players and I wish all players the best of luck this weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n
