Buninyong District Tennis Association (BDTA) joined ClubSpark 12 months ago and have been seeing significant improvement in Club Operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secretary of the BDTA, Peter Joyce is finding benefit in the online platform, especially the Events module, in the lead up to the Club\u2019s second Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) Tournament in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe events platform is great, we will run our second UTR tournament in April and to have the link from ClubSpark go straight to the event, and then onto e-mails to send out communication was really helpful in promoting it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The promotion certainly worked through the ClubSpark platform, with 32 players registering within a week of opening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BDTA have also had great success on court, with more people jumping online to join their Tennis Association.

Clubs like Grenville TC and Gordon TC have already made the transition to the new platform. Previously these clubs did not have a website, let alone an online presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe ability for people to join clubs online is a massive bonus, people buying social memberships and also getting access to the courts.\u201d explained Joyce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve\nstarted an orange ball competition, an Autumn Competition which will start after\nour Summer Competition finishes, and this is all going through ClubSpark.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPeople can\nget online and see the results and where they sit in relation to others in the club\ncompetition, so that\u2019s helpful as a player too.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the key advantages of ClubSpark is the amount of burden it takes away from just one person at the club.

Historically, there would be one key person a club that would take on all the responsibilities, now, as Joyce explains, you can divide and conquer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou can add several administrators, so it might be different people in your club coordinating juniors or coordinating coaching. Every administrator can update and then it\u2019s not reliant on one administrator to do everything on one website.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust give them all a login and away they go.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked why more clubs should be jumping on to the ClubSpark platform, Joyce had no hesitation in recommending that clubs and associations start to get online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so easy to use to start with and operate, and it\u2019s because it\u2019s all linked that\u2019s the great thing. It becomes a one-off information centre and I feel like that’s beneficial to everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
