{"id":23954,"date":"2020-09-17T14:13:23","date_gmt":"2020-09-17T04:13:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/?p=23954"},"modified":"2020-09-17T14:14:02","modified_gmt":"2020-09-17T04:14:02","slug":"community-tennis-guidelines-update-17-september-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/news\/2020\/09\/17\/community-tennis-guidelines-update-17-september-2020","title":{"rendered":"Community Tennis Guidelines Update 17 September 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The below message was sent to Tennis Victoria affiliates on Thursday 17 September.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dear Affiliates,<\/p>\n<p>Following State Government&#8217;s announcement of the COVID-19 Roadmap to Reopening next steps for Regional Victoria, we are pleased to advise of an update to our most recent Community Tennis Guidelines for Regional Victoria.<\/p>\n<p>We are now able to share the following updates:<\/p>\n<p><strong>REGIONAL VICTORIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With Regional Victoria moving to the third step of the Victorian COVID-19\u00a0Roadmap, there are some further changes to our Community Tennis Guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>What does this mean for tennis?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Singles and Doubles play permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Competition tennis can return.<\/li>\n<li>Group coaching for up to 10 participants in addition to the coach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can view the updated Community Tennis Guidelines for Regional Victoria <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/vic\/news-and-events\/covid-19-information-tennis-toolkit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/clicktime.symantec.com\/3UXFkWpNGMuLTStq6FHPLRa7Vc?u=http%3A%2F%2Fcomms.tennis.com.au%2Fa%2FhBfYt5EB8tVaBB92168AAR9sp%24I%2Flink9\">.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>METRO MELBOURNE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Government have not yet provided a further update for the next step of the Roadmap for Metro Melbourne.\u00a0 We are continuing to advocate strongly for a return to play from 28 September (Step 2), but do not yet have confirmation of this from Government.
