North Suburban Junior is today celebrating following their triumph in the Frank Sedgman Cup at Traralgon Tennis Association on the weekend.<\/p>\n

The Group D winners defeated Group B winners, North Eastern Junior TA, (4-29 to 2-19).<\/p>\n

More than 60 of the state\u2019s most talented boys and girls, aged 11 years and under, had the spotlight shining on them as they took part in one of Tennis Victoria\u2019s nine Regional Team Events.<\/p>\n

Seventeen metro and country tennis associations took part in the round robin competition.<\/p>\n

The North Suburban Junior squad was elated with their victory and put it down to a simple mantra; \u2018teamwork makes the dream work\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe enjoyed playing with other teams and getting to know the other people,\u201d Siya Kothapali said.<\/p>\n

The event enables kids to play as part of a team and aims to promote this healthy notion of playing for one another.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the other teams \u2026 you have done really well,\u201d Aerone Wolfgang Tabotabo said.<\/p>\n
