Tennis Victoria<\/strong>, on behalf of School Sport Victoria (SSV)<\/strong>, is pleased to announce Team Vic\u2019s 12\/u Bruce Cup <\/strong>tennis team.<\/p>\n

The team will represent School Sport Victoria at the School Sport Australia (SSA)<\/strong> Bruce Cup Tennis Championship in Adelaide from 20 October to 28 October<\/strong> this year.<\/p>\n

The Bruce Cup is a prestigious national schools tennis championship open to girls and boys aged 12\/u. The Bruce Cup is conducted by SSA in partnership with Tennis Australia and other Member Associations.<\/p>\n

Tennis Victoria wishes to congratulate not only those students chosen to be a part of the 2018 Bruce Cup team, but also the 32 boys and 32 girls that participated during the trials on 19 and 20 June.<\/p>\n

SSV selects a state representative team of seven boys and seven girls to compete in the annual national team competition through a series of local school events, starting with district trials, then regional championships culminating in the SSV State Championships.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Bruce Cup event is a fantastic opportunity for players to represent Victoria in a team atmosphere,\u201d\u00a0said Andrew Reynolds, Tournaments and Events Manager<\/strong>, who attended the SSV trials last week.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is great to see a range of athletes from different schools and communities being selected. Tennis Victoria wishes the Victorian team the best of luck for the Bruce Cup.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
